The Shielded Site works as a badge of support that can sit on any host website.
Yet hidden behind it is a powerful piece of code, which launches an expandable iFrame that contains all the vital information of the Women’s Refuge website - including a direct portal for victims of abuse to contact staff and ask for help. The site itself never appears in a user’s web history keeping them safe from a controlling partner and allowing them to get the information they need.
The Shielded Site was one of only 27 campaigns worldwide shortlisted for the 2017 Cannes Glass Lions.
More importantly, it now sits on most of New Zealand’s most visited retail, banking, social and government websites.
